Introduction

The behavior of consumers in developed countries and in the largest cities of the world has changed in the last 50 or 60 years very dramatically. It has become "fashionable" to buy inorganic food. Food is the most valuable need for the human beings because their survival is dependent upon it. All living things need food to live as a living organism maintains its physical components and their growth with food. All life processes in the body are in a great matter of what constitutes his food since the first days of life, as well as diet. Every living organism in the process of life continuously spends its constituent substances. Much of these substances "burned" (oxidized) in the body, resulting in energy is released. This energy the body uses to maintain a constant body temperature, to ensure the normal functioning of the internal organs (heart, respiratory system, circulatory system, nervous system, etc.) and in particular to perform physical work. Food is essential and the first condition of life. Not surprisingly, all the universal natural science concepts included as an important and necessary part of the theory of supply. History of science are two theories of supply. The first occurred in ancient times, the second - the classical theory of a balanced diet - finally formed at the end of XIX - the first half of XX century. Food safety is a top priority in approximately everywhere in the world (Edelstein, 2009). As the local food movement grows consumers are demanding information about where their food comes from, a larger number of grocery stores and institutions are looking for wholesale access to local fruits and vegetables. To make the connection between producers and retailers, distribution networks are taking an increasingly important role in the local food system. Increasingly, farmers are joining or starting their own food distribution centers to combine their products to other farmers and move the market more easily and complete the chain from farm to table. In this paper I am going to evaluate Farm to Table Movement along with description given by Alice Waters since she is linked to the movement. There is a reverse trend in recent years to consume home products from local farms in local restaurants and at home.

As the local food movement grows and consumers demand information about where their food comes from, a larger number of grocery stores and institutions are looking for wholesale access to local fruits and vegetables. To make the connection between producers and retailers, distribution networks are taking an increasingly important role in the local food system. Increasingly, farmers are joining or starting their own food distribution centers to combine their products to other farmers and move the market more easily and complete the chain from farm to fork.
