Overview of the Theory

Feminism, mainly over differences on how the society refers to the men and women, and women are largely unable to participate fully in all institutions of society. Feminists believe that the company believes the male point of view, as a rule, and women, as poor. Consider, for example, how, over time, women have always ridiculed for having the opportunity to express their feelings freely. Feminists want to change this long-standing approach, and move to another faith, as women are perceived and treated. Feminists believe that their way of thinking will give the world a new vision of how everything around us have seen and done. Liberal feminism is a movement that began in 1960s. These feminists believe that society (especially men) are unfairly treated women since time immemorial, and they will get equal rights of this oppressed group of women, changing the image (Littlejohn) (Campbell 2000).

The Principles of Feminist Theory

Radical feminists believe that the change of women in the public eye is only the tip of the iceberg. They believe that it is necessary to change the patriarchal structure of society. They do not want equal rights, because it means that women continue to be in accordance with the rules of men. They want to have a personality separate from men (Foreman 2008), and to glorify women. Radical feminism promotes alternative media. Throughout history, women were excluded from the criticism of philosophy, with a complete lack of attention to women's thoughts and ideas. However, there are several women philosophers, such as Simeone De Beavoir and Susan Langer, but they were never taken seriously by men, or the world's scientists, in conjunction with the context in which they were once wrote. There has always been discriminated against on the basis of sex in the philosophy of a philosophy of trying to develop a universal truth, to obtain objective knowledge. It was established in terms of value is given to men's ideas and the devaluation of women's ideas, it is mainly because it was due to the idea of women were classified as unfounded. (Chodrow 1999) points out that many feminist philosophers have pointed out that philosophy has traditionally been written by men who promote specific values, as compared with others in the name of truth and objectivity. Traditionally, philosophers have valued for the mind body, culture over nature, reason over irrationality, truth, and more than an illusion of good over evil. Women, femininity and motherhood, were associated with the body, nature, irrationality, and even the illusion of evil, causing the exclusion of discussion of women and femininity in the philosophers. Many feminists have challenged the traditional association of women in for questioning on the alleged objectivity of philosophy (Lewis 1999).
