The Odyssey is one of the two major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. This is partly a sequel to the book "The Iliad", also the poet Homer, or so I believed. From, the point of view of literary analysis must consider it essential that a work written towards the end of the eighth century BC, somewhere in Ionia, in the coastal region of modern Turkey.
