Dedicated to the collection? preservation and exhibition of television and radio programs? the Museum has a collection of more than 75?000 registered programs covering more than 80 years? radio and television stories. Established in 1975 by William S. Paley (founder of CBS radio and television networks)? the museum opened in its new tower? developed by Philip Johnson and John burgee? in 1991. A play on the shape of old-fashioned radio cabinets? building houses two theaters? two 45-seat screening room? 96 boards for individual viewing / listening room devoted exclusively to historic radio.

January 26? 2009 - On the heels of the famous run in the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles? an innovative "24: Redemption - Captured in Africa"? the exhibition travels to the Paley Center in New York within two months.
