The Republican Party

Introduction

The Republican Party, also known as GOP is one of the two major political parties American contemporary. It was founded on 28 February 1854 by dissidents of northerners Whig Party and the Democratic Party anti- status quo on slavery claims sovereign's state and favor protectionism (Wong 341).

Philosophy and Goals of the Party

History
