Introduction

The U.S. Criminal Court System has been structured to provide justice to the criminals and sufferer of the crime, it enables the law violators to be put on trial in a fairer way. The most important theory of the US criminal court is that those who are on trail remain innocent (Frank, 1995) until and unless they are proven guilty of the sin they have committed. In order to keep a safety society it is necessary that people should be educated properly, justice is equally available to each individual and victims should be punished according to their sins. (Abraham, 1992).

Discussion

The jury structure originally was intended in such a way that decisions of whether an individual is guilty or innocent will not fall only into one personal hand but a group of people (Robert, 1990). This characteristic of the court gives the U.S. criminal justice system the strength of justice in a way that in order for 10 people to have the same opinion on an individual being guilty or not, the court must provide sufficient quantity of proofs so that no one will be punished by mistake (Melvin, 1994). However, the major weakness of the jury system is that, the defendant will get the fair trial if jurors are being prejudice.

Modulated Court System

The United States Criminal Justice System is the cornerstone of functional authority which is used to maintain community control. It has many components that work simultaneously to provide justice to people outside the (David, 2008) law and victims of crime, providing violators of the regulation to be processed in a fair trial.

The components of the Criminal Justice System

U.S. criminal justice system operates through five main components. If a crime is not solved by the application of local control it progresses to the next step. The five components are:

1. Local Law Enforcement: If a civilian has committed a bad act, be issued by the infringer to the localized application of the regulation. Some crimes (such as frauds) can be solved exactly by the police to issue a permit or a fine. For more critical violations that are dedicated to the victims, the police turn the system of court for a fair trial.
