Virtues in General 

The theological virtues are supernatural that comes as a gift through the grace of God, which is adopted by a believer.  In theology, God infuses the intelligence and the will of man to direct his actions to God. Traditionally there are three theological virtues, which include Faith, Hope, and Charity. Virtue is a habitual disposition of man, acquired by repeated exercise to act consciously and freely in order to be an exemplary human being. The virtue must not be considered common, occasional, and an isolated act. It must complement with every actions of our life.  Theological Virtues 

There are primarily three theological virtues that include faith, hope, and charity. These virtues are infused by God into the hearts on the day of our baptism, but as a seed, we need to grow it through our efforts of prayer and sacrifice. 

The Theological Virtue of Faith

It is a gift and a divine light by which we are able to recognize God. Therefore, faith is not only a theoretical doctrine but faith is the light through which we understand the God. 

Characteristics

The faith is an encounter with God and his plan of salvation.Faith is simple and it is not made ??up of musings and speeches. It is a real commitment to God. Faith is vital and it can change the life. Therefore, we must live by faith. 

Faith is experiential and knowledge of God in intimacy. Those who have faith have God. There is a feeling, but knowledge of the spirit that God gives us to intimacy with Him. This experiential knowledge of God has manifested the moments for the souls in sacrifice, pain, and in times of trial, when required humility and a greater detachment. 

The faith is objective, which that it is not left at the subjective level. We believe in God, who has revealed Himself through the Word that we have received from the Church. His Words must be known and learnt. The dogmas of the Church are lights along the path of our faith, which illuminates it and make it safe.

They are gifts from God and not man's conquest or fruit. 

It requires our free and conscious collaboration to refine and grow. 

God gave us these virtues so that we can act to the divine, as children of God, and thus counter the natural impulse inclined to selfishness, comfort, and pleasure. 

To instill the idea of ??God to man, apparently, it is necessary that this idea has been closely connected with everyday human needs. Establishing such a relationship can only be done when, man experiences his life prepared to accept such an idea. The notion of ??God should be presented in such a way that it has personal meaning for him and it touches his best interests and thereby cause certain emotions. Every religion has an appropriate system of reasoning that provides the inculcation of the idea of ??God consciousness. The idea of ??God binds to the success of industrial activity of man, with his moral sense, which is the aesthetic experience. The main point, which allows people to link the idea of God to everyday human interests, is at least in Christianity that ...
