The theatre is visited by fewer people - that's a fact. The reason lays in the fact that television and the cinema, the theatre increasingly replace in his role as "facilitator" of experiences and situations. By the enormous technical progress in recent years, the film succeeds and the television, almost everything put, every opinion, every feeling and every impression. But above all, it is possible the new media more and more, to create the illusion of authenticity. A whole new cultural context committed itself to provide the most basic and simplest of questions as to the meaning and function of the theatre at the turn of the millennium again.
