Introduction

The basic idea of my paper revolves around the concepts of race and ethnicity. For understanding the concept in more detail I will evaluate two piece of literature i.e. “What It's like to be a Black Girl” by Patricia Jackson (an African- American) and “Child of the Americas” by Aurora Levin Morales (a Latino). Both of the writers created in many literature pieces in United States and had an insight about the social issues of the state. This is an essential fact because shades of black and other unprivileged in the U.S. knowledgeable excessive racial elegance and tendency when in comparison to their colleagues in other nations around the world. The songs tell how two youthful women, from different societies, perspective themselves with different philosophy. These two songs are essential because they cope with racial elegance and elegance concerns which took place before City Privileges Era and still are available these days. Although, each of them knowledgeable elegance their views, its results, and how they coped were very different.

Discussion

In order to comprehend racial elegance and its results on unprivileged one must first know what race and racism is about, what are its tendencies and elegance and race are since many people use these interchangeably to mean the same thing. According to the Merriam-Webster online thesaurus, competition is placed as they got real physical features that recognize a number of people; racial elegance is the truth that all associates of each competition have certain features or capabilities particular to that competition and it is especially used to tell apart it as substandard or excellent to another competition or races. Tendency is a mind-set of prejudging someone that is not according to reason or real experience. Moreover, discrimination is the unfair or prejudicial therapy of different types of people or things, especially on the argument of competition, age, or sex; and race (also cultural group) is a people, whose associates recognize with each other, through a common: history, terminology, and a philosophy that pressures roots. It is essential because many unprivileged have to face these concerns day-to-day. Minorities are regarded the subordinate team and can be discovered in all organizations. Minorities reveal five features including: irregular therapy, particular real physical or social attributes, unconscious member, knowledge of being a subordinate, and in-group marriage; being a community has nothing to do with being almost all in a community

The composition “What It's Like To Be A Dark-colored Girl” is about a nine year old African-American girl. From the first three syllables “First of all,” the writer gives a feeling of a tale being informed. She uses spectacular syntax and powerful intense terminology to also present people the degree of her topic. Smiths composition gives the visitors an insider's perspective into a youthful black gals move into black woman-hood at a time where both being a black girl and a black lady was not as recognized (Barlow, 2003, p.87).
