Introduction

Alumina Inc., founded in the joined States is a $4 billion aluminum maker. Seventy (70) per hundred of its sales are accounted in its joined States operation and 30% from their eight operations around the world. Alumina Inc.'s constructing facility is located by the edge of lagoon Dira in the sate of Erehwon. Alumina Inc., being a large corporation confronted with public allegations that contain the risk of substantial litigation, crisis management, is the key to resolving those at the most efficient and effective ways. The situation regarding Kelly Bates allegation that the Alumina is the proximate cause of her 10 year old daughter's leukemia necessitates an assessment of the situation whether the company has actually violated any laws or regulations as claimed is the key. In the simulation, releasing a news story highlighting the efficacy of systems and clean record resulted in an unfavorable reaction from Erehwon Reporter thereby did not help in doing a damage control on their public image.
