Abstract

Ethics is the philosophical branch of science which investigates the laws of human behavior, to formulate the rules that they agree to the full extent of the psychological and social evolution of man. The object that corresponds to the Ethics as a philosophical discipline is to clarify, reflect, and substantiate this human experience that is morality. Ethics is a form that gives life to the spirit, a constant reference to the brotherhood of man. Business ethics is based on moral and ethical principles of rule of conduct as the firm and outside it, as well as the legal criteria that are established by legislative acts of the state, and international rules and principles. To succeed in business, managers (entrepreneurs), it is important to be able to negotiate with partners, to interact as a team, ably lead by subordinates to work without conflict.

Trustworthiness and Ethical Stewardship

The problem to be investigated in this research paper is to analyze the influence of business leaders in promoting ethics and stewardship within an organization. The researches paper will also evaluate the relevance of responsibility to making ethical decisions in businesses. The research paper is divided into three main sections; each for leadership, trustworthiness and ethical stewardship; which would be followed by this author's opinion and ethical concerns for an academic setting.

Comparing and Contrasting Leadership Approaches

The fundamental characteristic of leadership is that it creates a dependency relationship between two or more people. Being a leader, he leads the group towards some goals, collect the recognition and support other members (Murphy, 2009). In order to define different approaches to leadership, particularly in corporate settings, we mentioned the basic characteristics of each leadership approach in the following chart:

These are the theories or approaches to leading members of a group within a business setting, in which members tend to achieve different goals over time. Depending on the used methods of management, directors are divided into focusing on the work, focusing on the person, and oriented styles of activity. When increased disillusionment with the approaches of the "great man" and features for understanding leadership occurred, attention turned to the study of situations that gives various situations to product managers. There have been numerous studies on the premise that leadership is strongly influenced by the situation where the leader emerges and operates under special circumstances (Caldwell &Long, 2004).

Influences on Business Decision-Making

In order to discuss various approaches of leaderships through which they influence business decision-making, it is imperative to analyze the permanent leadership theory. This theory classifies the types of leadership according to the degree of freedom that the supervisor offers employees both as himself. Some leaders make decisions and communicate to employees what to do. It explains the reasons and provides more information about how leaders inspire others to get work done.
