Introduction

The consequential of U.S. state laws and regulations in regards to respecting Muslim religion is dismantling. The highest law of the united stated of America is the constitution. Its First Amendment protects the establishment and practice of any religion in United States that is, an individual is free to practice and establish his or her religion as long as it does not transgress against the law and public safety. Orientalism is one of the weapons used to strike Islam and undermine its foundations.

This apparent paradox raised in the paper intends to find the reasons why the United States agreed to Muslim states with Qur'an as the fundamental law. It simultaneously transforms the Islamic movements in their formidable enemy. With the fall, of real socialism, it reinforced the image of the United States as a hegemonic power, overwhelming and contradictory. In regard to foreign policy and especially to relations with the Middle East, noted, moreover, a U.S. contemplative with some Muslim states where the Qur'an is the Basic Law and Sharia governs it.

Islam and Democracy

In Islam, the belief is that democracy is the one that guarantees the sovereignty of the people and put a safety valve against corruption and monopoly hegemonic power, because its formation secular, liberal democracy can in no way meet the Muslim society in the West used as a tool for replacing government and defending the basic rights of citizens (Cesari, 2006).
