Introduction

Procedure for obtaining a student visitor visa (duration of the course of 6 months or less for students from outside the EU or EEA countries) is quite simple. Students who are nationals of a country outside the European Union / EEA aged over 18 and wish to come to the United Kingdom must obtain a visa and permission to entry (Entry Clearance) as a "Student Visitor" prior to arrival. For this, they can go to a British diplomatic mission abroad. When they arrive, they may be asked to present the confirmation letter from the school, proof of payment of tuition, the address of their accommodation, return ticket and provide evidence showing that formal financial if they are able to support themselves during their stay (Ramplin 1999, p. 48). A medical certificate may be claimed by country of origin. Nationals without a visa must obtain permission to enter the territory as a "Student Visitor" on arrival in the UK. Students under the age of 18 must appear in obtaining permission to enter the territory as "Child Visitor".

It must be noted that students entering the UK on a visa "Student Visitor" or "Child Visitor" are not allowed to work or to extend their training. Procedure for obtaining a student visitor visa (duration of the course of 6 months or more for students from outside the EU or EEA member countries: the participants must obtain an official confirmation of acceptance (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) in obtaining permission to enter the territory as a student. The Home Office (Immigration Office) has approved Eurocentres as an official partner, which allows it to issue to the attention of Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies as part of the training. The CAS must be presented to the British diplomatic mission abroad when filing the application for entry as evidence that the student will have enough money to support the loads of daily life and also to cover the tuition fees.
