The Ways in Which Rubbish can be said to have Value in a Consumer Society

Introduction

The concept of consumer society is linked to the market economy; these in turn conceptualized economies that find their balance between supply and demand through flows freely (no state) are given in the market. The discussion on consumer societies is more ethical in terms of needs and desires of consumers. One of the most common concepts of consumer society is the one that says it is a society that has been rendered against the designs of the capitalist market economy and therefore, their views and cultural foundations are governed by the creations that market made accessible to people. These in turn, lose the characteristic of human beings and individuals to become viewed as the mass of consumers who can influence their desires through advertising and in some cases they may create needs with marketing techniques (Ackerman 2002, pp. 125).

The consumer society means not only goods but services, meaning that in these societies, the manipulation of information is also part of moulding the ideal consumer seeking companies that have the power. In short, the concept of consumer society emerges from the fear of extreme consumerism that drives people to buy as a product is offered to meet the new canons of acceptance within society itself. The consumer society is a reality and the levels at which their development has reached impressive and on the other levels you can achieve in the future is unpredictable. In so-called subsistence societies, the production generated by hunting, fishing, agriculture and handicrafts is designed to meet the basic needs of individuals:

1.Food

2.Dress

3.Dwelling

Production meets those needs and is geared entirely towards consumption, so that hardly produce surpluses. It works just enough to produce enough to survive (Bonnie 2006, pp. 146).

Promotes an equally snobbish and hedonism where the goal is to acquire more and more, influence or rather, with the help of mass manipulation through the marketing sponsored in the media and today tell you to eat, to dress as see as fun as living in the end, even as you should and should not think.

The more you have, the better you are

Anything that negatively impacts, society individual from my point of view, Capitalist's contudentes posts by sympathetic but impact the ignorant and easily manipulated, just look at advertising products in the media and the message background (Franklin 1995, pp. 119).

At no time have managed to tell you that using the product, simply say it is good and ideal for maintaining a given state, yet people assimilate it differently, since the announcement was made in a way that is objectively interpreted one way, but subjectively the other (which is benefiting those capitalist pigs) indirectly or unconsciously believe ...
