The importance of culture and organizational climate has been the subject of strong interest from the 80's till today. No longer is it a peripheral element in organizations to become strategic element of high importance. The development of organizational culture allows members of the organization to coordinate with the clients in the required way. An open and human work culture encourages participation and mature behavior from all members of the organization. If people are committed and are liable to perform for the betterment of the organization it enhances the overall performance of the organization. (Hofstede, 2010)

The organizational discussed in this paper is Marks and Spencer. The climate is determined by the perception that employees of the company are accustomed to the national culture of the place they are operating from. This includes the feeling and the way people react against the characteristics and quality of organizational culture. The word culture comes from the Latin word for farming, agriculture, education and its components were cults (cultivated) and (action, result of an action.) Culture over time has been a mix of features and distinctive spiritual and emotional, that characterizes a society. This concept is also referred for a long time to an activity resulting from the interplay of society. Tom Peters and Robert Waterman consultants McKinsey, adapted this concept and psycho-social anthropological organizations This term was defined by other researchers in the field as the interplay of values, attitudes and behaviors shared by all members of Marks and Spencer.

By comparison and analysis of the definitions presented by authors, it follows that all imagination of culture at Marks and Spencer is everything that identifies an organization and the difference of another by making their members feel part of it and who profess the same values beliefs, rules, procedures, rules, language, ritual and ceremony. Culture is transmitted in time and adapts according to external influences and internal pressures of Marks and Spencer. Marks and Spencer have a culture of its own: a system of shared beliefs and values ??that the human element is attached to the forms. Corporate culture created at Marks and Spencer focuses on providing quality to there customers worldwide. (Handy, 2008)
