Abortion

Introduction

The medical abortion means any expulsion of the fetus, natural or induced, in the period of his life nonviable intrauterine, i.e. when it has no chance of survival. The abortion may be spontaneous or provoked. It occurs spontaneously or because death comes, or because different causes motivate the expulsion of the new being outside, where he died due to their lack of ability to live outside the womb. If the abortion is caused, it is done either by killing the child in the womb or artificially forcing his removal to die abroad.

Sometimes children act on viable pregnancies, killing them on the inside of the mother or seeking his death after live birth. This is not, medically speaking, an abortion, and in fact many laws that are considered permissive abortion tolerance specifically prohibit it because it included in the figure of infanticide. But not so in other cases, where the penal code does not take into account the viability of the fetus for there to be the crime of abortion, and in return, you can kill in some cases viable fetuses without receive any criminal punishment, under current legislation regarding abortion precisely (Shah & Ahman, 2010).

Abortion is a simple medical method that ends pregnancy. Through the story around the world and in many religions women have used abortion as part of health care. Not all women think abortion is fine, but every woman has the right to make their own decision. Other options in the event of unplanned pregnancy are: deliver the baby to adopt it or keep the baby.

Women decide to abort for many reasons:

•Our parents would be angry and disappointed, and may even throw us out of the house.

•If this baby we are not going to finish high school, or can go to college and we'll run a race.

•The father of the child or the child is not going to help.

•Having this child would not be healthy for either us, or baby.

•We cannot afford to care for a baby.

•We got pregnant because of incest or rape.

In the United States it is legal to have an abortion. But if you are younger, you have a legal right is being challenged. In some states you can have an abortion without telling your parents. In others, there are laws Parental Consent or Parental Notification.

•Parental Consent means that you will need the permission of your father or mother if you're under a certain age, usually 18 years.

•Parent Notification means you have to tell your father or mother if you're a certain age, usually under 18 years, but do not need your permission.

If you thinking about having an abortion and live where laws Consent or Notification of Parents must call a clinic in your state (or the Abortion Hotline) and talk to someone about your options (Ferreira et al., 2010). You can usually avoid telling your parents if you explain your situation to a judge. But this takes time, so call as soon as possible. Another option ...
