Abstract

In the midst of rapid changes in technology and the influx of goods and services brought on by globalization, business leaders began scrambling to maintain their competitive edge. Organizational leaders responding to the global challenge needed a system that was capable of running all their business processes within a single integrated model. In an attempt to manage the changing demand of the business environment, organizational leaders have implemented advanced information technology systems to improve business productivity, streamline business processes, and reduce costs (Doyle, S., 2000, Pp. 20-35).

In the following research paper we shall develop Pizza Hut Kingston IT database regarding the problem of absenteeism. We shall talk about how it works out its employee retention and employee's punctuality to ensure maximum productivity that can be achieved with employee's effectiveness and employee's loyalty. We shall also discuss about the quantitative data regarding the increased absenteeism.

Introduction

Information technology plays a significant role in shaping the landscape of modern business. Usage of modern techniques in Information technology assists companies and business in gaining the advantages of time saving cost reducing and proper management. It is an important step to select, define and implement the strategic approach of IT so that the effective linkage to the business strategy activities in terms of the formulation of new activities and present business strategy and policy (Gershenfeld, N., 2000, Pp. 10-39). Comparatively it will rely on the existing IT strategy, and will depend on since how long the plan was updated and at what scale the change is required and how intelligently and practically the policy was incorporated with the business strategy.
