Advertisement Analysis

Introduction

This paper attempts to analyze semiotic, Marxist and/or psychoanalytic frameworks present in advertisement or campaign. Further it will discuss how the West stereotypes the East. The advertising campaign I have chosen for this analysis is UK Ran advert by Tiger Beer. The media are generally used for a specific purpose, audience and select the media content according to their needs. Some people like to see reports and other series because they like to identify with the reality they represented. Thus, the high social class men tend to see current programs, news, sports and competitions (Cayla & Eric, 2008: 88).

The design of standardized advertising trend is important as part of creative strategies to design and market the brands and products in different countries and silver forms. With this, marketers aim to improve the effectiveness of the messages on your audience-power them, often without considering other factors such as social and cultural structure modelling approach of perception and media consumption. This phenomenon has also been of interest for researchers of advertising communication, which are seized in recent years to study and compare the response to advertising messages in different cultural contexts. West has always been dominant in culture and the people in east are attracted to their culture.

The importance of advertising in the end, after all, is to present the consumer with a product and that has to get his attention. One of the most common methods used in advertising signs is to create stunning images and many sometimes not clear that is exactly what they are selling to create greater consumer interest, which makes people wonder what is it you are trying to sell. The images we show you today are based on the idea. Pictures original, creative and very impressive computer generated.

One of the adverts of tiger beer shows a picture of women wear kimono dress and is standing on the lying man ready to give a massage. The man who is lying on the bed is a person from different race and culture. This representation shows oriental and mystical that reflects to different Asian brands depicting opium dens, boudoirs and silk outfits in images with intention to attract western imagination. This advert represents the global influence of the ...
