Aliens in the Universe

Introduction

The world we live in is a mysterious place. There are a number of unexplained phenomenon occurring on daily basis. Various new species, be it birds, mammals, worms and so on, of which humans are completely unaware are discovered time after time. However, there are also a number of myths and mysteries that have been discussed on the planet amongst the humans for centuries. Although, there does not exist any particularly obvious evidences to prove these speculations right or wrong. However, several facts that would lead one to another can be used to identify the truth in these legends. On observing these facts closely, it will be fair to say that the existence of aliens is very likely and possible.

Discussion

Extraterrestrial life, also known as alien life can simply be defined as a life, which has not originated from the Earth. Therefore, aliens can be defined as beings who have not originated from the planet Earth. Aliens have been the center of discussions for many centuries. Although, majority of the individuals “seems” to believe that aliens do not exist. On the other hand, Films are made, books are written, theories are proposed, experiments are conducted and fantasies have been created about colored skin aliens with huge eyes and tentacles (Dick, pp. 58). This is perhaps the biggest factor that can be used to prove that deep down individuals do acknowledges the possibility of life in the form of aliens and hence these methods are only their way of expressing their curiosity.

The planet earth we live up on is a very small portion of this extremely huge and bizarre universe. There is a very strong possibility that there exist a number of other planets within our solar system, a number of more solar systems within our Milky Way Galaxy and consequently many more galaxies similar to ours can possibly exist in the universe. In fact, scientists all over the world believe that there also exist many mores parallel universes in addition to ours. This further reinforces the fact that the planet Erath is almost negligible if compared with many other places where life can originate, exist, dwell and sustain in many forms (Dick, pp. 58). Another important fact to note is that our universe is home to many stars. Moreover, several researches presented in the past decade have shown that perhaps at least fifty percent of these stars harbor the planets. Furthermore, it has also been shown and proved by many studies that many of the stars are bigger in size than most of the planets in the Solar system. It is estimated that there are approximately one trillion of such planets that exist in the Milky Way Galaxy alone.

Hence, the fact that many scientists use to prove the existence of aliens is one simple question. What is the rationale of having an unbelievably huge universe and several other bizarre parallel universes if only humans were meant to live in only a small planet called Earth. There are ...
