This paper reviews the article 'Intel's Rebates: Above Board or Below the Belt' which was published in the June 2010 edition of Communications of the ACM. The article discusses Intel's investigation for antitrust behavior after the company was alleged to have made periodic payments of more than $300 million per quarter. Andrew M. Cuomo, a New York-based attorney general has claimed that the company made these payments with the sole intention of discouraging its OEM customers from using AMD's chips in their computers.
