Personal Statement

I have lived all my life in New York where I acquired my primary and secondary education. When I was done with my basic education I decided to move to Chicago for better job opportunities where I met my husband and married him. Considering that the needs and wants of life increases with time and also considering that my husband had the passion of having a career in medical profession, we decided that we will work towards the completion of his studies in the medical profession so that his income could support us thoroughly. We had three beautiful children together in three years and considering that the expenses of the family will increase with the children I decided to continue with the work.

I lived at Colorado Springs and decided to manage my husband's OBGYN practice which in itself was a learning experience. I moved to Long Island and decided to work as independent contractor for Macys Special Events for the first benefit shopping day which was an enlightening experience.

Later, I decided to switch my job because I wanted to look for a better opportunity and better earnings and hence went on to be an administrator for a health clinic specializing in Occupational Health considering the fact that I had already acquired experience via OBGYN practice. With the administration profession I also came across an opportunity of coordinating a bike run with all the corporations in the area. My father passed away which was a huge shock for me and my family and my mother moved in with me since she couldn't live all alone by herself. Soon after my father's death I received my real estate license. I was then staying with my children and a husband that I did not share cordial relationship with. After acquiring my rental license I moved back to Colorado Springs with my family and my mother. I was doing great when it comes to earning a livelihood where I could fulfill the needs and wants of the household members. I constantly travelled amidst the two states where I sold properties in both the states.

Later the circumstances were such that I had to move back to New York and worked till the year of 2012. Now I am trying to continue with my studies and acquire higher education which I was planning to from the start. I am highly enthusiastic and motivated when it comes to acquiring higher education. I believe that my working history has taught me much and the kind of competency that I have acquired via the jobs that I have done from the start complement the requirements of the degree courses that I intend to execute.
