Summary of the Article

This part of the paper is going to review the article “Modernity and bourgeois life”. In this article the writer states that the time span is renowned philosophical modernity that expands between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, between the Renaissance and the French Revolution, which results in the work of philosophers for example Bacon, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Descartes, Hume, Leibniz, Kant and Hegel. In all of these authors we find an important change in the pattern of new concerns, new difficulties, new endeavors at answer and even a new method of philosophizing very distinct to that utilized in the preceding era.

It is significant not to misplace view of the concept that philosophical reflection of an era is nearly associated to its centre chronicled events.

To a large span, up to date beliefs is a reflection of the new pattern (bourgeois) world view. We will start to distinguish this way of glimpsing the world utilizing two classes, the secularization and modernization.
