History of Ardabil Carpet

The famous Carpet of Ardebil carpet is provided to the people in the mosque of Sheikh Safi al-Din Mosalla Ardabil Shah Ismail whose grandfather is buried at this place (the Safavid dynasty took its name from him). The carpet is even recommended by companies known as "William Maurice" and "Vnyst Robinson”. It even forms the collaboration with the company known as "Ziegler" that was bought in Tabriz. Ardabil carpet and fabric designs are one of the most precious and famous carpets in the world. Ardabil Handicrafts and Carpet

Ardabil handicrafts and carpets are mostly used by nomads and inhabitants of small towns and villages. The other handicrafts such as weaving, wool socks, backpack, embroidery, bag weaving, silver work, engraving, inlay, wood and metal and pottery are even produced in Ardabil city.
