Abstract

I chose this subject for my dissertation because it is chance for me to try explain why the human body was always the centre of my attention, and why do I make paintings with people with distorted and non-realistic body. Art is the term that refers to the creation of something skilful. The major focus in the analysis of art is on the field of physiology. Every thought and style is different, depending on the individual and his/her cognitive abilities. Various artistic styles and methods have been going on with the passing of the centuries, and in few cases, came back in later with some modifications in it. The fact that numerous experiences in a person's life build the personality, and effects the behaviour of that individual, supports the idea that trauma in an artist's life leads him to portray the feelings on distorted depictions of the human body.

History

The history of the art has been understood as the study of academics based on the struck of different object that are basically related with the historical development in the stylist context such as gene, format, design, and style. This includes the major types such as painting, sculpture and the decorative objects. In this paper I will discuss the history of the Arts and cover the aspect of artist's trauma in contemporary paintings being reflected on the distorted depictions of the human body (Honour and Fleming, 2005, pp. 2-5).

Art history includes the history of mankind, from the ancient times to the twenty-first century. Art history became apparent as a regulation that trains in illustrating people how to interpret and evaluate art, established on their own personal aspect. It has generally been a debatable issue for its subjectivity because the explanation of what is admirable changes from person to person. Art history needs an individual to study and define what he sees in terms of design, colour, value, shape and texture (Chambers, 1997).

The word art reflects to the imagination and thought of the artist. An artist reflects his/her fantasies of mind with the help of art. Art is the terminology that refers to the construction of something skilfully (Farrar, 1982, p. 4). Artist reflects the political, physiological and cultural aspects through art, and also conveys their message to the audience. At times it is easy for people to interpret the message out of the context, and at times the message being portrayed is not easy for individuals to interpret and it requires keen observation and study to understand. Art is of various kinds. It may be painting, singing, performing, etc. whatever kind of artist is, he/she reflects his/her imagination, thoughts and fantasies with the help of art (Cherry, 2004, pp.479-493) .
