1- Courtship Readiness: Jason said he shaved and brushed his teeth particularly before going on date, he also said he used a particular brand of perfume which he has saved for such occasions also when he saw his date, he said he automatically stood up straighter and pulled his stomach in.
2- Preening Behavior: According to Jason, when he was looking for his date, he automatically ran a hand through his hair and when he approached her, he adjusted his suit.

3-Positional Cues: She said that when her date walked in she saw he had a frown on his face and his hands were in his pockets as he scanned the crowd for her.
