As we know that McAfee is the largest service provider against the virus attacks. It is also researched that McAfee has been the victim on 21st April, 2010 which resulted into a great loss for the company. Several customers of McAfee became angry as they were not happy with the services of McAfee. This was considered as the technological management because one of the reasons was that majority of the machines already installed the Windows XP Service Pack 3 with the package of McAfee Virus Scan and, the version was 8.7. From the research, it was clear that Virus Scan was able to provide several options like Scan process but, only on enable mode (Bagozzi, 2011).

The testing of McAfee was failed at that time and did not catch the error. Only McAfee itself was able to resolve the issue and had to choose different methods to cope with this problem (Bocij, Greasley, & Hickie, 2009).

The first and foremost aim of any organization is to satisfy customer requirements and if customer requirements are not met then, positive results are not seen. Customers of McAfee were not looking satisfied when they faced such a big issue. This was because several customers were paying license fees and extra charges to improve their systems' securities but, McAfee broke their trusts. There are several large organizations which are the regular customer of McAfee and, they trust McAfee products and services (Laudon & Laudon, 2012). They do not expect such a blunder with installed latest versions of McAfee. Moreover, several organizations do not want to buy McAfee antivirus anymore as they do not want to take risk for sure. The response of customers was not good when they saw such issue with their PCs but, McAfee also adopted a quick strategy to solve this issue in order to remain on safe side (Spears, & Barki, 2010).

When discussing my work, I am working in an organization in which we have to work through internet 24 hours. I have to maintain and record data on excel and word and, there is a strong need of security version of McAfee so that I will not loss any file in future. I am not ready to afford such mistakes because; it can cause a huge loss to my data and reputation. I love my job and I do not want to lose my job due to these issues (Cenfetelli, & Bassellier, 2009).

As we all know that McAfee is a large organization and has good reputation in the market. It has hundreds of employees and, McAfee tends to hire new employees. Company also knows how to deal with such issues and, adopt several management techniques to control technical issues. On the other hand, McAfee should consider IT experts in order to fight with these issues and avoid making blunders in future.
