Introduction

The audience analysis is the essential component of any marketing or advertisement oriented activity, as the effectiveness of the message depends on the perception of the audience. In the traditional perspective marketing and eh audience analysis was not considered a significant activity undertaken by the organizations, as the focused majority of their efforts on to product quality (Clevenger, 1966). One of the most dramatic changes in the marketing and research oriented roles of the modern organizations has been brought about by the changes in the consumer behavior and the advancement of technology. The contemporary consumer market can be ideally identified as a highly customer oriented market, where smaller groups of consumers hold very unique perspectives and demands. The competitive forces brought forth by the process of globalization, has caused the organizations to become very sensitive to the consumer demands, and produce products relevant to the consumer demands.

In the context of the American consumer market I believe that even though the overall population has certain generic attributes; however the organizations also have to research the unique attributes of each state. In the era of customization and immense consumer individualism, the strategic advantage will be attained by organizations and other entities, only through the process of critical consumer analysis of the specified region. The Georgia state in the US has certain consumer attributes that will be very different from other regions in the country (Guest, 1962). As every state has a different social makeup and diverse socio cultural groups that live in the region, the organization have to create their messages based on the perspectives of these consumers, otherwise the message will not be effective.

The official Georgia Chamber of Commerce's website has described the general regional population as a highly entrepreneurial and business minded population. The website has mentioned that the general; public is highly involved in the business related activities, and the educational resources of the states has enabled this population to provide a positive stimulus to the local financial status (Georgia Chamber of Commerce, 2013). It is due to this dynamic of the general population that the chamber has been responsible for the initiatives which have positively affected the business related activities in the state.

The website mentions that the people living in the state had experienced stable jobs and a rising local economy, and this trend is likely to continue in the year 2013. The general population mainly consists of highly educated and business oriented individuals; hence the local regulating authorities have invested in the relevant initiatives. The general demand from the local population is relating to the business related activities, and this reflects the recent and ongoing business development plans initiated in the region.
