Introduction

The notion of the “image of God” appears three times in the bible. As a matter of fact, the Genesis 1:26-27 and that of 9:6, one can easily find the mad is created in the image of God. In that particular case, the context of Jesus is of prime importance. For instance, “image of God” greatly represents the existence of Jesus. Further generalization of the phrase gives enhanced meaning of the notion and can be reflected on the existence of human being. This, however; never infers the physical appearance of God, in letter and spirit, yet, what it puts emphasis is the humanity's inclusion of love, compassion, hatred etc. All in all, the “the image of God” basically depicts the qualities of human being in terms of their presence and not the physical being (Staub, 2013).

In that regard, this paper will focuses on the phrase “mankind is created in the image of God” with the ample discussion of the examples and their relevance to the business.

Discussion

The creation of man or human being is the last of all the creatures; this can be termed as the privilege or a kind of honor. As a matter of fact, the thought that the “man in the image of God” sounds nice, however; most of the people does not tried to stop at a certain point and thought what does this really means (Grigg, 2013).
