Biblical Evidences of the Trinity

Abstract

This research presents a valiant study in theology, coalescing on the presentation, illustration, analysis, and re elucidation of the Trinitarian concepts. Against the concept that God is to be taken merely as an eternal being, we would reflect the reminiscence of God's actions and the existence of God in Jesus Christ escorts to an aspiration for the future, anchored in the promise of the Holy Spirit. We are of the opinion and would persist to present throughout the paper that the words “the Father”, “the Son”, and “the Holy Spirit”; all three are the apt names for the God known by the Christians, through Jesus Christ. The doctrine of Trinity had to face a lot of controversy in the early church by the Gnostic profanation and several other exploratory theologians like Lucian of Antioch, Arius of Alexandria, Origen and Paul of Samosota. The subject to be considered is merely that since the expression “Trinity” is not particularly stated in the Bible neither the doctrine of Trinity is overtly elucidated in the Bible, it is nonetheless unreservedly stated therein. The controversies put forward by the heresies compelled the Church to give a thorough thought regarding the teachings of Bible about the existence of God. The outcome of this thought was the doctrine of Trinity; however, this establishment of the doctrine was founded on a vigilant examination of the Bible. Through this research we would quote the direct verses from the old as well as the new Testaments, to provide evidences for the affirmations and acceptance of the doctrine of Trinity by the Holy Bible, though not overtly but implicitly.Table of Contents

The basic aim is to explore the essentials of the Bible so that we come to know what actually Bible instructs us about the existence of God, by means of the investigation process presented in this study.
