Big 5 Personality Traits

Introduction

The following paper briefly looks at the five personality factors that judge human behavior and might be related to human motivation. Traits are patterns of thoughts and feelings that are unique to each person. A person is differentiated from others on the basis of these traits. Traits are usually basic tendencies that remain stable throughout a person's life. There have been many theoretical perspectives that have been developed over decades including the theories of human motivation and differences. Each of the personality traits describes the feelings and behaviors of a person occurring in a continuum. The five traits described as under fall under the three of individual differences.
