Scientific researchers have found the root causes and the symptoms of this disease. Bipolar disease is a disease that is categorized as mental illness by the researchers. It is also known as the manic depression. A research says that the person suffering from bipolar disease often experiences many depressive cycles (Kato, 2007). This disease includes swinging of moods to extremes. These moods are temporary and they keep changing. These mood swings neither have permanent timings nor permanent days.

At times a patient may suffer a period of depression. A person having a bipolar disorder shows signs of abrupt mood changes. The level of severity with which these mood changes occur may vary. This disease changes the way one thinks and acts. It also affects the energies of a person. However, the level of severity also depends on the individuals.
