Bowling for Columbine

Introduction

The documentary Bowling for Columbine was produced by and starring Michael Moore. It takes as its starting point the Columbine High School slaughter (tragic shooting that took place in 1999 at Columbine High School) to make a reflection about the nature of violence in the U.S.. States. The documentary addresses several issues: violence in American schools, the use of weapons by civilians and the "theory of fear."
