CHAPTER 02: LITERATURE REVIEW

The number of established sites on the internet is growing day by day, but few of them are gaining popularity, bringing huge profits for their creators. Most of them do not even pay back the money invested in the creation. The reason for this is the wrong approach to the creation of the sites, in which the most important is the idea. In fact, very often it turns out that even the most interesting sites are not in demand and there are many reasons for that. For example, it is not necessary from the beginning to offer a paid registration to the site. Due to the large amount of fraud, the credibility of these methods became very low, and no one wants to pay for an unknown site (Van, 2001, 8).

When creating a new website great attention should be paid on the main page of the site. It should be easy to manage, have a little weight, to attract attention of users. The spread in the form of spam links on web pages and social networks are not the best way to promote the site. Because it also describe lot of different kinds of scams, that send viruses and other malicious programs. Such advertising may not attract the opposite, and undermine the reputation of your site. Therefore it is best to contact the agency for online advertising and website promotion (since competition in this market, the prices of these services is very democratic, and such advertising will give solidity and reliability of the site.) In general, if you want to create your site which generates revenue, would first have a lot to work on it and get ready for that first need to invest money in it, and then make a profit. There are some basic considerations, which everyone should address when creating a new web site. These are ease of usability, navigation, security and effective structure of interface (Nevile, 2007, 3).

Usability

Ease of use to potential clients is necessity of every website. This feature consider the download time of pages of the site, the ways in which users find the information he need, optimal resource structure, ease of design, navigation, etc. There are some proven facts by which we can say that ease of usability is the most important feature of any website. If the use of the resource is difficult for the user, it leaves the site and if the information on this site does not meet its key issues, it may leaves the site. Hardly could be something on the site, which could cause your visitor to spend a lot of time figuring out the interface, or would make him read the manual web site. There are a number of other resources, where information can be obtained quickly and easily. Usability is a great asset in the struggle with competitors. The first rule of e-commerce: if visitors cannot find a product, they cannot buy it (Lemon, 2002, ...
