Introduction

Early childhood generally means; the period from birth to six years. In this age your child needs to be learnt in pre-school. Pre-school, also called home-school, is associated to lifestyle that is a time you say welcome to your child into your heart, the moment you start teaching the child about the world. It is important to choose a preschool curriculum because the curriculum you choose affects the outcomes for your kid.

Pre-school curriculum

The students of the pre-school should learn something about almost everything, from art to science. On the other hand, home-schooling teachers or parents should consider the broad framework set by pre-schools across the country while planning the curriculum for the students of pre-school. In the curriculum of reading, students should learn, understand and use a variety of new words. They should learn to read and read and able to identify the various sounds. In the curriculum of math, they should learn to identify, count, measure, and create patterns, use numbers and word symbols, and so on. Art is, generally, observed fun of all subjects for pre-schoolers. The accurate preschool curriculum gives the pre-schoolers strong fundamentals in a variety of subjects. Meanwhile it prepares the students of pre-school for higher grades.

Preschool Lesson Plans

As Reggio Approach reveals, “The underlying belief is that from birth children are competent. Belief is the core of any approach. Practices either reflect or belie espoused beliefs” (Ann L-B 2011, p 12) It is observed that pre-schoolers learn willingly through visual aids and through doing things themselves. Thus, parents (generally they are teachers of pre-schools) should make lesson plans that contain opportunities to engage the kids in various activities. In this way, kids start doing various tasks interestingly. A well-planned lesson makes a long way in shaping the view of the students for understanding the question of the topic. So, teacher should add relevant details to base lesson plan around a theme in order to make lesson plan more interesting and fun. This is not only a cause of excitement for teacher and students but also aids the little students to have flow in various subjects.
