Abstract

This paper focuses on the concept of the Christianity as a transformed and transforming society. Furthermore, it discusses the role of culture in the formation of a peaceful society. It sees the connection between the culture and the religion. However, the result revealed that, although, in the contemporary era, Christianity has faced dilemmas of terrorist attacks and violent behavior from the other religion, but still it is progressing at transforming the societies of the entire world.

Problem Statement

If culture conveys the meaning of style of living of the individuals, then it seems to be persistent, engulfing all aspects of the life of the people. Same is the case with the religion; as it is supposed to be the significant feature in shaping the style of living of the people. Nonetheless, there are individuals who do not associate themselves with any religion; still they are linked with the customary religious aspects from their community directly or indirectly. As a matter of fact, religion decides in an authoritative way the style of living of communities and cultures. The most appropriate way to assess religion is to view it as a way of living just like culture. This concept develops a profound link between the religion and culture. In the given scenario we need to raise and answer the questions like “Are religion and culture are a same phenomenon? What is the role of the culture in forming a blessed peaceful civil society? Regardless of the fact that how culture affects the teachings of Christianity? Christian religion progressed and transforms the common culture in order to comprehend that why we are confined to cultural boundaries and what we can do to for the betterments of the situation to enter a secure future, free of biases and cultural prejudice.

This prominence becomes challenging where Christianity is concerned as various kinds of Christianity emphasize fundamental change and anticipate it to emerge in the life of the people. Owing to the fact that individuals claim that fundamental Christian change has an influence in their way of living, anthropologists become apprehensive and usually wrap up the religious elements of their cultures. Christian allegations about change are difficult for anthropologists' praise, as anthropological and Christian models of change support various representations of time and faith.
