Clinical psychology deals with the treatment of mental disorder. The evidence and the clinical practice have a relationship that cannot be ignored. The evidence of the clinical practice guidelines shows that people who are involved in this suffer a lot due to the stress that they suffer. The evidence shows that clinical practices are not developed properly and are implemented in an inefficient way. Evidence has made it easy for the clinical practice to improve their procedures which will in turn help the patients suffering from stress (Cusens Et. al, 2010).

Mindfulness helps a person to pay complete attention and working wisely with the thoughts and emotions of people. A lot of people are confused about the way mindfulness should be achieved. The practice of mindfulness is learned through meditation and the person is able to bring awareness in the daily life. The presence in the daily life of this concept is due to the fact because it helps to prevent stress and also reduces depression. The application of mindfulness in the clinical practice is growing because it helps people to reduce stress and deal with depression.

Therapists start practicing mindfulness by practicing the three minute breathing space. The three minutes help the therapists make sure that they go by minute by minute and make sure that they do not miss a single step (Chiesa & Serrettim, 2011). In the first minute, the person becomes aware of what is present at the very moment. In the second minute, the person focuses on the breath. This focus allows him to stay focused in the present moment and does not let his mind wander somewhere else.
