Introduction

This paper presents the issues related to the ineffective public administration, due to the issues of core communication problems at the Accent hotel. Accent hotel is faced with the issue of public administration, due to the fact that there have been issues in the communication process at the hotel. The paper will also present the approach and the strategies that the hotel will need to implement in order to deal with these issues of public administration at the Accent Hotel.

Political Context

There are policies related to non-Interventionism on business operations.

The rule of the country over the regulation (Rankin, Thomas, 2010).

Economic Context

There is high GDP rate.

Purchasing Power of consumers is high.

Unemployment rate is low but at certain places, it is still high.

Operating costs are high due to increasing cost of running a business (Rankin, Thomas, 2010).

Social Context

There is social stability.

Standard of living has improved all over the world, and it is generally high.

There is a lack of skilled employees (Rankin, Thomas, 2010).



Cultural Context

As it is a developed country, the hotel industry is quite big.

People use the hotel services on a regular basis, and because of the high competition, it becomes advertising and communication needs in the market is also high (Rankin, Thomas, 2010).

Description of problem and challenges in the area of public administration

The problems and the challenges faced by the Hotel are due to the fact that the hotel has not been able to effectively communicate itself to the customers. Moreover, the customers arriving at the hotel are also not being satisfied by the service being provided to them at the hotel by the hotel staff. This is due to the fact that the management has not been communicating with the staff of the hotel, in relation to its expectations from the staff. Therefore, it can be said that the management has failed in communicating its expectations to the staff, as well as, not communicated itself to the general public. Due to this, the hotel has not been able to grow its business (Clow, Kenneth, et al, 2007).

Analysis of approach taken by the organization and its partners to deal (or not) with the problem

There are some experts who say that a company is merely a linguistic phenomenon, it is through language that they are formed and reaching systematized form an organization with objectives, goals and vision. The key in all this is the "communication" experts that reduced the company's concept of a" linguistic phenomenon "did so because they saw that without communication there is no company, a company linked with high level of commitment needed for good communication without which misunderstandings can occur, confrontations or staff may do the job differently than expected due to the guidelines given were not clear enough to be correctly interpreted by them (Kotter, John, et al, 2002).
