ABSTRACT

This paper's aim is to discuss about credit card fraud on E-Business. Today, there are numerous ways that fraudsters have found to breach e-business inventory control, distribution systems, ordering systems, and payment systems. In this research report, stolen credit cards, system manipulations, and other kinds of credit card frauds have been discussed, along with the impact that these fraudulent activities can have on the profitability and smooth operations of e-business. Moreover, a number of preventive measures are also introduced and discussed, as well as, some actual cases on e-business fraud are also included in this piece of study. Further, detection of e-business frauds, measures to minimize this phenomenon, and the threats that these credit card frauds can have on sellers and shoppers on e-commerce platforms, are also discussed in this report.
