Introduction and Rationale

Nothing is perfect, there is always chance for the improvement and especially when it is about the learning. The more a person learns more he or she will improve, there is an Italian proverb, “By learning you will teach; by teaching you will learn” (Harmin & Toth, 2006). There is always a chance for improvement and teaching is the process of continuous learning. Especially for the teachers, there are many problems in adopting most efficient and effective strategies in order to meet the requirements and learning outcome of the curriculum. In academic institutions there are a number of different assessments and evaluation systems, which deal with problems of teaching strategies and curriculum.

Curriculum is very important part of the educational system; it provides basics or the foundation for the teaching process, and it is part of the “informed prescription of any system” (Luke et al, 2012, p.21). One most important concern associated with curriculum planning is to bring improvements in the curriculum of any educational institute. It is very essential step in order to make the curriculum more effective, according to the latest advancements, and to achieve maximum learning outcome of the students.

Thesis Statement

Critique and evaluation, or the critical evaluation of the curriculum and teaching strategies provides assistance, to identify flaws in the old curriculum and to make positive and more effective changes in the new curriculum.

Discussion
