The main objective of Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) is to achieve transformation in education in Scotland which can be made possible by providing learners a more enriched and flexible curriculum. It also aims to make an individual a more responsible citizen, a successful learner, build the confidence of the learner and hence making him an effective contributor to the society. The purpose is to make the learner develop the knowledge, skills and attributes that will assist him to flourish in life and work, now and also in the later years.
