Introduction

Government of United Kingdom (UK) had introduced Dangerous Dogs Act in 1991 and then amended in 2004. This act was introduced in the response of violent and uncontrolled dogs who have disturbed the free movement of common peoples particularly children. In this act, four types of dogs were identified as dangerous namely Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentino, Japanese Tosa and Pit Bull Terrier.
