Introduction

A database is referred as the structures or prearranged collection of data which can be used for the useful purpose. It is often observed that, the data is usually arranged in order to present relevant and important aspects of reality like the accessibility of rooms in hotels, in a manner that supports procedures requiring this data or information for instance, searching a restaurant with jobs. According to recent researches and surveys, the databases play a significant role in various operations of business. The databases allow the organizations or businesses to organize or arrange their useful and confidential data in a more convenient ways. This may also help the organizations in preserving the integrity of their business procedures.

According to recent researches and surveys, data mining plays a significant role in the operations of database. Data mining is referred as the powerful and strong technique or tool which allows the organizations or businesses to emphasize or focus on the useful data or information regarding the customers or products. Data mining helps the organizations or businesses to find relevant information from the database of the organization. The proceeding paper demonstrates the concept of databases and its significance within the working environment. The proceeding discussion also incorporates the actual concept of data mining along with its types and its importance in any business or organization.

Task 1

The relational database became the predominant part in storing of data. A relational database is a combination of tables designed by compiling data sets, all the information and available data is organized and arranged according to the relational model. The relational model actually combines the various data sets and data tables into one table. The relational model also offers the database normalization, which offers actually various levels of modifications. The software of a relational database is known as RDBMS. Whereas when we talk about the software engineering, entity-relationship model is there as a data model for defining the database in a conceptual manner. The entity relationship model was proposed in 1976. Although the idea about this model was previously present.

The conceptual model gives an idea about how the elements of an atom are organized and involved similar forces of acting among these elements. It not necessary that a conceptual model; is accurate and correct. It just provides the foundation to start discussion the concepts those are involved in it. Conceptual model provides the basis for discussion which leads to the viability of the developed model (Rajguru & Sharma, 2014, n.d.).

Business enterprises usually have data quality rules: cardinality, uniqueness and options. Cardinality is the level of a relationship that how many times a business enterprise can be related with another ...
