PayPal is the largest debit electronic payment system. In October 2002, PayPal got acquired by the organization eBay. Most of the leading competitors PayPal closed or sold. Currently, PayPal operates in 190 countries and has more than 164 million registered users. PayPal works with 24 national currencies. C in October 2002 is a subsidiary of eBay. Payments made through a secure connection after the introduction of e-mail and password specified upon confirmation of your account. The concept of account is the address to which the purchase will get delivered. PayPal users can transfer money to each other. At the end, of 2011 PayPal operated in 190 markets. PayPal allows customers to transfer money, receive direct cash transfers, but also have active accounts (Rosenborg & Collier, Pp. 3-19).

The value proposition of PayPal to consumers:

PayPal is working more and more sellers using PayPal to receive payments. About 83% of eBay sellers are already doing so. Competition in costs with respect to transfers gets complicated, but we want to emphasize that the costs for accepting credit card payments in any trade (electronic or traditional) always assumes that trade. However, PayPal's value proposition is much broader based on simplicity, comfort and above all the speed at the time of payment for both buyer and seller. In addition, their mainstay is the security of transactions over the Internet; they get by, to name a few systems, fraud detection, information privacy debit card or credit of buyers and sellers protection policy and so on. Consumers do not get charged directly by the use of PayPal, because PayPal has to collect the interest income on consumer funds that have not been transferred from a PayPal system.
