Epistle

Epistles are basically the apostolic letters of the Bible. Thus, the New Testament has twenty one epistles that have been dividing into two classes: the Paul's Epistle, totaling and general epistles, three by John, and one each through James and Jude. The epistles provide approximately 38% of the New Testament (David, pp. 25-39).

In the Epistles we find the statement of the result of this glorious work of grace by which man shares in the divine life, is placed on an entirely new ground with God, being reconciled with Him, we find in same time the development of guidance from God in Christ, by which the new world, of which Christ is the center and the head is ordained and established. Giving the presentation and the ways of God in relation to the work that is the basis of these pathways, effective perfect work itself and about our relationship with God is clearly demonstrated; so that the whole system, the whole plan of God, and the way in which this plan was implemented, are presented, and by making this statement, the Epistles clearly seeing what man is, what God is what eternal life.

The death and resurrection of Christ, and his elevation to the right hand of God, form the center of all this teaching. There is, in this teaching, three large divisions, each relating generally to the instrument that is used by God to communicate each party. Firstly the counsels of God are developed by Paul in connection with the revelation of true justice before God, that is to say, the basis on which a man can be truly righteous before God: that is to say, the justice of God, the man is a sinner. Secondly, the life of God is presented to us, manifested and communicated eternal life is the subject of the Epistle of John (Abbot, Pp.9-15).
