Federal Acquisition Streamline Act 1994 was signed by President Clinton. This act was considered as the most important acquisition reform. It presented the final 4 years of cooperative bipartisan activity, which included the review more than 600 procurement related laws and procurement policies. This comprehensive reform streamlined 200 billion dollars in a year that completely switched the work of government in its contracting roles. What FASA really did in the economy of U.S? Was FASA really proved successful for the economic growth? What happened before the launch of Act? Did it reduce the cost overruns on defense acquisition contracts? How can we evaluate its effectiveness by understanding its role in small businesses? What was the reaction of private industries about this acquisition act? Did it complex the process of procurement? This project will focus over the mentioned factors that will certainly cover the entire significance of the topic.
