Hurricane Katrina struck the southeastern Louisiana in 2005 and lead t the huge devastation in the area. After three years, the state was hit by a more severe hurricane Gustuv that lead to the formation of a landfall along the southern coast of Louisiana. Recently, the southern Louisiana was again severely struck by hurricane Isaac in 2012. These unfortunate events resulted in a huge amount of losses of lives and property in the state.
