Educational fields in which international projects are prevalent

Gone are the days in which the provision of education was only limited to the field of medicine and engineering. With the passage of time the field of education has broadened its horizons and today there is no field left in which education or training is not available. In today's era, the educational institutes are working to provide education in almost each and every field including medicine, engineering, hospitality, fashion, business, banking, Psychology and so on. International and foreign universities prefer to enter in fields that are in vogue and demand in the country so, that they can earn a profit. Another strategy that these foreign institutes adopt is that they analyze the country and realize the fields in which there is a lack of resource such as staff and expertise then they establish the business in that field so, that all the customers (students) turn to their institutes (Jalote, 2001. Educational institutes of foreign lands develop institutes to provide both general education in a field and vocational trainings related to a field. According to the study conducted by Verger in 2008 reveals that the investment from foreign educational institutes are more in providing basic and general education related to a field and less in institutes that provide vocational training (Verger, 2008). This study shows that 33% of foreign institutes have been established in the vocational training field whereas the rest of the 67% investment of the foreign and international institutes were in the field of general education of various fields (Verger, 2008).
