Executive Summary

Globalization put a new emphasis on spatial economics and the importance of economic geography because of the spatial spread of certain economic activities in some geographical locations and the contraction of certain business in others. Because globalization is immaterial and impersonal, it may not be located in a defined geographical space, it cannot be taxed or prosecuted, but it governs to the extent the lives of people that it touches. Globalization seems to be something like an emperor without an empire. The current wave of globalization is just a subset of huge structural changes that are the outcome of the Schumpeterian evolution in technology and spatial intensity and scope of interactions between many actors at all levels of the economy. Financial scandals such as the ones linked with Enron and WorldCom (both in 2002) created a public outcry against deregulation. In this paper, we try to focus on the role of UNICEF in relation to Globalization (Tomas, 2003, 227). In this paper we try to focus on the role of UNICEF in relation to Globalization.

Introduction

Globalization is a procedure through which people from all around the globe are connected to each other on different aspects and life terms. Either on cultural or any of the economic, political, technical and even environmental fields, globalization allows different individuals to stay connected and associated with one another. Globalization has always been statistically and dramatically analysed by many research departments with overall inconsideration of the essential conditions and challenges. Though now it seems that the equalization of this process is unparalleled with world history phenomenon. The major reason behind this will be the tremendous amount of capital flow present. Globalization now is main structural and evolutionary changes with the help of technologies and social reforms (Hardt, 2002, 11).

Globalization History

Globalization is a process which doesn't involve only the transmission and change of different facilities but also the changes in territorial development and consistency. If one has to look at the prospectus of this virtue, it is going to be fairly changing and covering different areas of the society it is going to have stronger effects on different people. Globalization encompasses different parameters of the world and social properties such as economy, society, politics, geological temperaments, academic and several other things people don't usually think about. It is concerning everything that is a plan out of the events that are taking place on a worldwide basis and as outcome different strategies that are taking place on its behalf too. Beyond the national border, this is supposed to create a difference and that too in a manner that is very significant according to where one is located and present on the map (Zhou, 2007, 281).
