It is a private non-profit organization, and their aim is to prevention and treatment programs for alcohol and drug abuse (http://nasadad.org). It is imperative for a non-profit organization to the mission, vision, goals and objectives so that all the stakeholders can critically analysis the situation (Beasley, 2011). Their mission is linked with several goals and objectives which state what the organization want to achieve and how they will accomplish. The goals of NASADAD is a plan and implement alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment programs. The objectives are derived from the goals. The goal and objectives of the organization represent that they want to help individual across the states to prevent and treat them through clinical programs, recovery support programs and community programs which provides full funded plans for all ages of people (http://nasadad.org).

The objectives include research and development to identify issues and problems in the society. This organization has methods and techniques to conduct research among the community and their members, which leads to the appropriate result for which they develop the new program.
