Introduction

The museums represent the ideal place for attending a cultural event, as the vicinity includes several historically significant artifacts and objects. I was very interested in visiting from a number of museums in order to view the artifacts at display, and formulate my report on the relevant experience. However cultural history and significant artifacts are not limited to the museums alone, even though these vicinities essentially have some of the biggest collections. I knew that a tour to the museum would easily provide me with an abundance of the appropriate knowledge and give men the opportunity to choose the two pieces to observe and formulate my report with. I think that visiting actual sites which consist of a rich cultural history is more informative and an enriching experience than simply going to the museum. Visiting the actual sites helps the observers' witness the complete experiences, and it also enables them to get a better sense of the communities that lived in the specified area.

It is due to this perspective that I have chosen the sight of the Grand Canyon, for attending the cultural event; as it is the site which holds various American cultural roots. The history of the Grand Canyon dates back to more than 10,500 years, when the evidence for the pioneer human civilization was found in the area. The various archeological sites and the historical significance of the area, virtually transforms the Grand Canyon into museum. The Native Americans have a deep historical connection with the area, as they have a history of inhabiting the Grand Canyon for up to 4000 years. Several ancient cultures such as the Pueblo people and the Cohonia, have a history of inhabiting this area; as they abandoned their nomadic lifestyles to adopt a life based on agriculture. ...
